Our Financial Services and Securities Practice Group recently hosted a highly successful Breakfast Meeting on the theme: “Structuring for Growth: Leveraging Mauritius for Cross-Border Expansion and Financing.”
The event, which was held at our Lagos headquarters, brought together key industry players, clients and industry leaders for an engaging and insightful discussion and networking. The event hosted by our partner and practice group head, Mabel Okereke, was an opportunity to explore how Mauritius plays a strategic role as a hub for cross-border business expansion and financing. The Executive Director of Intercontinental Trust Limited (Mauritius) spoke extensively on the opportunities for growth between Nigerian and Mauritian businesses seeking to expand across Africa and beyond. Also in attendance was the Chief Representative Officer of Mauritius Commercial Bank, Mr Azeez Abiodun. The strong turnout and lively discussions underscored the importance of continued collaboration between legal, financial, and business communities in driving sustainable growth.
